Figures on this site are compiled from the published sources named on each page — insurer and CareCredit/Synchrony cost studies, the ASPCA, NAPHIA, university veterinary hospitals, and published clinic price lists — and are checked when the page is built or updated (see the Last updated date on each page). Veterinary prices are set by each clinic, vary by region, and change without notice. Always confirm a figure with your own clinic before acting on it. We do not guarantee that any figure is current at the moment you read it.
Calculators and estimates
Tools on this site, including the cost estimator, produce estimates from the details you enter and our published data. An estimate is not a quote, a diagnosis, or a professional determination, and your clinic's own estimate for your pet is the number that counts.
